Infoling is a moderated mailing list for sharing announcements and information related to Spanish linguistics. Announcements are also stored in a searchable database.
Infoling distributes information about conferences and events, new publications, and job openings.
Infoling's content is provided by contributors working in all areas of linguistics, who study the Spanish language from the perspective of many different theories.
The Infoling community includes 5,000 members in more than 50 countries, including 4,500 email subscribers and 500 Facebook and Twitter followers.
Infoling is an independent project coordinated by a team of scholars in Spanish linguistics at universities across Europe and the Americas.

Infoling is distributed with technical support from the RedIRIS Mailing List Service in Madrid, Spain. The Infoling server was acquired with financial support from the publishers Octaedro and Arco/Libros.
Information sent to Infoling is stored in three different places:
- The Infoling website server at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, which has an advanced topic-based search interface for postings since September 2009;
- The Infoling mailing list server at RedIRIS in Madrid, Spain, which has an archive of all of the postings since 1996; and
- The Infoling mirror at the LINGUIST List website in the United States.
Infoling also distributes postings via Facebook, Twitter, and RSS.
